New course records up for grabs in all divisions
With new riverside courses for the 2010 SBS Bank Hamilton Half Marathon and associated events there will be a host of new names against the best times registered for the runs and walks.
It is your chance to make a name for yourselves and get your name in the record books.
Pace runners will be on hand to help half marathon runners reach their goal times.
As well as new courses - including a one lap circuit for the feature event - the SBS Bank Hamilton Half Marathon has a new headquarters at Flagstaff Park, Commodore Ave, Flagstaff.
The new home offers for convenient parking, is ideal for registration and the start/finish line is right on hand.
The new course for the feature event takes in a loop of Harrowfield before heading south on River Rd, using riverside paths where possible. It crosses to the west side of the river over Victoria Bridge and follows the river north, takes in a detour through Braithwaite Park, crosses over the Sewer Bridge by Alandale, and heads back to Flagstaff Park and the finish.
Competitors in the 10km and 5km events will take in river paths and some of Hamilton's beautiful northern parks.

We are very excited about Greenfingers joining us as our new naming rights sponsor for this year's Greenfingers Kids Marathon. Greenfingers are keen supporters of the great outdoors and we're delighted to have them running alongside us.
Last year's Kids Marathon was a great success, with more than 300 children taking part. This unique event offers kids from 5-18 years the chance to complete a marathon, one kilometre at a time in the lead up to the 2010 SBS Bank Hamilton Half Marathon. They finish with a final 2.195km run within Flagstaff Park, along the actual half marathon course.

We are pleased to be supporting the Child Cancer Foundation by way of a donation from the entry fees of those competing in this event. The Child Cancer Foundation aims to provide high standards of support services to all NZ children with cancer and their families, ensuring that they are well-informed, cared for and supported at every step of their journey. No child or their family walking the childhood cancer journey should ever feel alone.
