Exciting new event added for 2009 - Kids Marathon

2009 SBS Hamilton Half Marathon, Sunday 4 October
Welcome to the new website of the SBS Bank Half Marathon Hamilton. This event now being organised by the Hamilton Road Runners Club also includes a 10km run and walk plus a 5km fun run and walk. And an addition this year and a first for the Waikato Region we are introducing the SBS Bank Kids Marathon.
For the event this year we have made some changes, namely:
- The start/finish will now be at the Hamilton Gardens and will also mean better parking
- The course for the Half Marathon and 10km events will take in both sides of the Waikato River
- The event is now sanctioned through Athletics Waikato-Bay of Plenty
- Earlier start times for all events
- Earlier start time for prize giving
Life Education Trust Hamilton
This year the Hamilton Road Runners Club is pleased to be supporting the Life Education Trust by way of a donation from the entry fees of those competing in this event.
